High Voltage Power Supply System

High Voltage Power Supply (DG-PSE-HVPS), is a high-voltage, high-performance DC power supply suitable for the spectrometer. The power supply is designed with the latest technology, incorporating integrated circuits and MOS devices to provide high reliability combined with better regulation and efficiency. The ergonomic approach in the design of front panel facilitates ease in operation of controls.

Specially designed PWM regulator provides minimum losses, high efficiency and ensures high regulation. The output regulator is linear type so as to provide better regulation and low ripples. The pre-regulator keeps complete track of input/output voltage differential in CC/CV mode and therefore power dissipation in output linear regulator is always maintained to a low level and greatly improves the reliability.

Digital metering of the output voltage and the output current is provided to ensure better resolution and high metering accuracy.

Fast acting overload and short circuit protection circuit are provided for the complete safety of power supply.  The output voltage is factory set at –900V DC, however, it may be programmed by trimming potentiometer provided on the top or by an externally connected potentiometer (10Kohm). The positive end of the output is connected to chassis and the negative output is brought on a BNC connector.

The power supply is mains operated and housed in a modular cabinet.
